MacDill Air Force Base, Florida
Project Name: Overhaul of Surf’s Edge Enlisted Club, February 2005
Project Scope: Turnkey implementation of all sound, light & video
 
Description: This $100K + project involved the complete redesign of the facility from an acoustic as well as aesthetic standpoints, the construction of a new DJ booth, new electrical system, and the placement of flat screen TV monitors throughout the facility. Gear installed included JBL, QSC, Shure, Denon, Kramer, Panasonic, Channel Plus and BroadcastVision, among others.
Fort Jackson, South Carolina
Project Name: Renovation of NCO Club, Magruder’s Bar & Grill and related facilities – August 2005 and September 2006
Project Scope: Turnkey implementation of all sound, light & video
Description: This ambitious renovation project undertaken by Fort Jackson in two main phases saw the complete remodeling of all club facilities. This $450K+ undertaking included the construction of new stage, ceiling trusses, ambient and dance floor lighting, and interior decoration. Gear installed included JBL, Crown, Middle Atlantic, BSS Audio, Martin among others.
Yongsan and Camp Red Cloud, Area1, Korea
Project Name: Renovation of multiple MWR facilities in Korea
Project Scope: Turnkey implementation of all sound, light & video
Description: This $250K+ project involved a general facelift of several venues throught the U.S. military complex in South Korea. The installation included a new videoconferencing system, several Game Show and Karaoke systems, several projector and electric screens for meeting rooms, and a complete sound & acoustical reinforcement package. For this implementation we went with vendors such as BenQ, Da-Lite, Polycom, Game Show, Knox, and Sony.
United States Military Academy, West Point, New York
Project Name: Renovation of West Point Bowling Center – November 2005.
Project Scope: General upgrading of the bowling facility.
Description: A complete new set of sound, lighting and video equipment was installed to “spice up” the facility. This implementation required a new Apollo music video platform, a revamped light show with full DMX controllers, and the latest audio and video gear to support the expanded format. For this concept, PS&L engineers opted for technology from vendors such as AKG, Crown, Kramer, Chauvet, PSL, and SanDisk.
Sembach Air Base, Germany
Project Name: Renovation of Combined Club – July 2006
Project Scope: Turnkey implementation of all sound, light & video
Decription: Several venues at this facility were renovated as part of this implementation, including the Ballroom, Cafeteria, Kellar Lounge, and meeting rooms. A new mobile DJ system was provided, new video screens installed throughout the facility, and a revamped sound system with full zoning was put in place.
