Design & Engineering
Performance Sound & Light, Inc. boasts many years of practical design experience in engineering the most complex applications for military use. The PS&L design philosophy starts with listening carefully to you about the unique requirements of the particular job at hand. We understand that your Bowling Alley problem is unique, and we will not presume that we understand its details until we hear it from you, even though we have engineered dozens of Bowling Alleys around the globe. We will most likely insist on a site visit – either to talk to the different entities involved, to conduct a site survey, or to simple “experience” your problem personally.

After the initial consultation and site visit, our engineers will typically recommend a first-order solution as a starting point. Pricing, Statement of Work, and other terms and conditions will be transparently put in writing to avoid any surprises or communication gaps. The D&E process ends by the customer accepting in writing the design, recommended materials, and pricing of the project, as mutually agreed. Deliverables will generally include Site Survey report, photos, diagrams, and other technical information. Schematics and layouts are typically done with CAD programs like StarDraw or comparable.
